2016 American stop-motion animated action fantasy film.

Recently, I watched this film and asked myself a question why?
Why this film touched my soul?
I always prefer films which hold a secret treasure of rich knowledge and I am grown up watching a good deal of Japanese animes. I am keen towards Japanese culture and way of life.
After the films like ‘Your name’ and ‘Hayao Miyazaki‘ significant works. This movie feels so special to me with stunning visuals and harmonious shamisen music. So I researched about this movie and found out a surprising fact: it made by Stop-motion animation. Two mins of scene will take almost one week to create. When we calculate with overall run time of this movie 102 mins and considering weekends, holidays and post production. This movie almost took two years to complete.
What so special about Stop-Motion picture? Almost every frame was carefully hand-crafted with characters, character expressions, clothes and landscapes. Everything was hand crafted with love.
Secret Treasure
I remembered my grandmother’s love. This movie says about the importance of our dear one’s memories. “Every story has to end, and each ending has the new beginning” Your dear ones may leave you at an unfortunate event in life. But life goes on, we are still alive. We always carry their memories and say their marvellous stories to our close ones, in this way they are still alive and living with us. This is how generations, cultures, indigenous musics where created and thriving for millennium.
Kubo and the Two Strings showed me only treasure I have is- My memories of feeling nature and memories of my dear ones.
