I, Mom and Dad was waiting for the train to Tirupati(Hindu temple).
We forgot to book the train ticket so that we bought a general ticket. for the general ticket, we need to travel only in the general compartment which is located on the rear and front end of the train.
We took a ticket to Renigunta junction from there we travel by bus to Tirupati
The train was Mumbai CSMT Express super fast(Sat 12:20 PM -3:00 PM) it will reach Renigunta within 2.5 hrs.
While the train was arriving at the station we saw all the compartment was almost occupied. We were rolled our sleeves to catch the lesser available seats.
.
When the train was stopped!.
.
I saw my mom was disappeared!
I am looking here and there and then look at the train compartment she swift inside and calling me to come in (My thought: Is she? still think she is 16?). Even though we rushed inside, it was already occupied so we sat on the compartment floor.
I sat near the doorway bridge between two compartments and start to enjoy the view and took “‘Mastery’ by Robert Greene” book to finish more chapter from where I was left.
My mom and dad sat inside the compartment floor.
Few character traits about My Mom
She is a positive person and a jovial one. she can easily make any environment to talkative(It doesn’t matter people speaks another language) she easily becomes one of them.
likewise, she started talking with fellow people in that compartment.
Suddenly she called me in high pitch which can be heard beyond the compartments “Dai kanna next stop la inga oru seat free aga poguthanda ne inga vanthu ookanthuko” (I don’t know how to translate this Tamil words to English let me give a try “Hey! ‘Kanna'(Pampering nickname used to call little toddlers) this seat going to be available on next stop so that you can have a seat here.”)
I saw my mom and also saw more than 15 pair of surprised eyes and raised eyebrows in different shapes. They didn’t expect to see Beard Beast(Dark Energy) instead of a toddler/except one person My Dad!.
Embarrassment hit me so hard. I look at my mom with burning flame in my eyes and yelled: “I don’t want any seat, please don’t disturb me”.
She always does like this whenever we travel, I get irritated because of her action and she still treats me like a toddler.
Recently I saw Anime “Avatar The Last Airbender Book 2: earth episode 8”
The Quote for that anime “There is nothing wrong with letting people who love you help you”-Iroh
I understood this quote it opened my eyes!. she knows I am matured, she almost like a friend to me we discuss everything and she always gave me a solution to solve it. She showing her unconditional love. Unconsciously she makes me has her first priority without her aware she always looks for my comfort and my safety more than her. ( Sometimes I thought do I deserve it?)
The message from the episode changed my thought process.
I need to let her help me and I am going to enjoy it. because I know I am matured, at the same point I need to enjoy her affection. there is nothing called embarrassment it is a pure form of love. hereafter I don’t care what others think when My mom calls me Kanna In front of a crowd or anyone.
These are more precious and valuable moments in my life I am started to enjoy them.
