Pilgrimage to Tirumala
Timestamp: 6th Jan 2019 01:37 AM
I felt the victory of breeze when I have reached the Galigopuram on the way to Tirumala to visit Sri Venkateswara(Avatar of Lord Vishnu)
Galigopuram is the main checkpoint to reach Tirumala, these steps are high energy to consume to walk on the mountain slope, We need to walk upwards for 2083 steps to Galigopuram from Tirupati.
We started at 12:30 AM and reached at 01:37 AM, On upward walk within 5mins my kneecaps are started getting tired, I can able to hear my heart beats inside my both eardrums and I felt the freezing winter chillness whenever we took alt for a 2-3 time in the middle.
When I look upon midway of onward steps my energy started to drain, My mind created a hallucination, that the slope is started growing and growing it becomes long-lasting trek.
At that time I remembered the story which I have read while travelling in a train to reach Tirupati. I am glad I bought this book “Swami Vivekananda the friend of all” from my yoga teacher.
When Swami Vivekananda walking towards to the Himalayas, Swamiji encountered an Oldman divulging Swamiji “It is too hard to walk on the mountain slope, I am exhausted I think I will not reach the top.”
Swamiji listens to him patiently then told to him“look down to your feet, the road that is under your feet is the road that you have passed over and is the same road that you see before you; it will soon be under your feet” Oldman resumed his onwards trek
It makes me energized, I look at down to my feet and I look back the path I have passed over the long descending slope. I look up and told my self” this will soon be under my feet”. I make my vision narrowed I only look next step and started to walk onward.
After 1 hour We reached the Galigopuram
I am standing on the 2083rd step, the final step to reach Galigopuram is now under my feet
Thanks for reading,
