Little Gratitude from shop owner cost us 2,199rs

My Mom thought me to buy a collared t-shirt, she told me to come with her to select the desired design for me.

usually, my mom only buys me clothes, it’s very rare for me to select on my own, I don’t have much interest in choosing dresses

We went to the nearby store which we have visited 2 to 3 times. The shop owner told us they only have plain collared t-shirts(plain t-shirts looks like an elder person to me), We disappointed and came out.

Following two stores we saw a new store with a glowing bright light with the attractive new year discount sale.

We went inside and asked the same cloth they also have only plan collared t-shirt and we decided this is not a good day to buy, I opened the door to go out.

Suddenly!! We heard a familiar voice from the store counter he called my Mom

“Hi amma yepdi irukinga, pathu rombanal ache, appa va na nariya papen intha shop pa cross pani povaru”.

(Hi amma(mom), How are you? Long time no see, I saw appa(father) much time while he crosses my shop)

I and my mom surprised to see him there,

Me: Wow bro, we went to the previous shop I haven’t seen you there, Now you are in here?.

Him: Yes bro, Welcome to my new store, I quit my job there and start this new store.

We congratulated him, My Mom was so happy and She told him,

Mom: for your gratitude, we going to buy one shirt.

Him: No!, amma not for me, if you like our clothes then I am so much happy to sell my goods to you.

I selected a white shirt and Mom showed me grey and he told me to check is new pant collection, Materials are too good and comfortable and I asked for Round neck t-shirt, the cloth was thin and smooth good to wear.

When we look at the Bill Wow!!! Omg 2,199 Rs.

I asked “bro is there any discount”, he replied,” including 10% discount bro!!!”. we don’t like to ask for a further discount, bcoz we are happy with his gratitude.

We well aware of our budget but we can’t resist buying more, because of his charisma in the speech made us buy more.

The little backstory about him

1 year before, When he was worked in the Previous store, he is in counter, My mom and dad bought me 1000rs shirt, I didn’t even wear that, I shouted my dad I don’t need this shirt, return it back. My dad was frustrated, he went to that shop and Shouted at him to return the money, He was stayed calm, listened fully and make my dad comfort and refund the money.

His attitude was too great and he speaks like a family person and at the same time, he gives value to the customers.

Traits to learn from him

showing importance and gratitude will enhance our friendship and gain more loyal customers in business.
