It happened today, while I was on my way to the office. As I was seated in of those seats a mother and her daughter boarded the bus. The little girl must be around 14yrs old.
As soon as they entered the girl found a window seat and sat there comfortably. Her mother asked her to get the tickets and she reluctantly got up from her window seat to get tickets.
By that time her mother took the advantage of having the window seat and occupied it. Later, she returned with tickets and saw her mother now sitting near the window. She almost gave a stare at her mother and sat quietly beside to let her enjoy the window seat.
Spotting a ‘grown-up’ child, who doesn’t want to share her window seat even with her daughter made me smile! 🙂
Because every single time we board a bus/train my mother used to do the same thing. Since I am not so fond of window seats I let her take it! 🙂 No matter how much we grow old, the child in us always wants to peep out every now and then. 🙂
